Classroom Help was created in Spring of 2000. We started the site to collect some of the materials we were using with our students and in workshops we were giving for teachers.
The site now contains over two thousand pages and graphics. You can help by sending us ideas for lessons for posting and by using our links to buy books from Amazon.com and by clicking on the ads on our pages if you see something interesting. These two items provide us with a small about of revenue which is used suport the site. We have not had a lot of time to devote to the site and like most sites it needs a lot of work. The two contributors to the site are Chris Burnett and Jim Wenzloff. Chris is a sixth grade teacher in an urban district. Nearly 70% of her students receive a free or reduced lunch. Jim has 35 years experience in education. He taught social studies and language arts for 25 years and now is employed as a technology consultant. |
